Spotlight Organization: The Ryan Lee Holland Cancer Foundation

This week I would like to introduce you all to the Ryan Lee Holland Cancer Foundation. This organization was established in Alpharetta, GA in May of 2011 by Jacqueline Holland, in honor of her late son 25 years old Ryan Lee Holland. The young and ambitious Ryan succumbed to colon cancer in March of the same year. Shortly after his passing Jacqueline Holland formed the Ryan Lee Holland Cancer Foundation with a mission to “Financially assist cancer patients in active treatment with medical expenses, doctor’s visit copay, prescription copay, travel and parking expenses at hospitals for treatment.”

I LOVE finding NEW organizations that ACTUALLY make a difference; and believe me, this foundation is changing lives. I, personally, was moved to tears as I read Ryan’s story along with the testimonies of individuals who have benefited from the Ryan Lee Holland Cancer Foundation. This organization has the potential to do many great things;even SAVE LIVES.

If you would like the opportunity to support this outstanding cause, HERE’S HOW:

1. IF YOU LIVE IN THE ATLANTA AREA- Attend the MIX & MINGLE FUNDRAISER @ AJA Restaurant in Buckhead on Saturday February 11, 2012. CLICK HERE to purchase a ticket and for more details.

2. IF YOU DO NOT LIVE IN THE ATLANTA AREA or (you just can’t make it)- You can visit the site for future events, volunteer opportunities or to simply make an online donation. CLICK HERE for those options.

I sincerely hope that you will take this opportunity to support the Ryan Lee Holland Cancer Foundation. We can partner together and help them accomplish their vision to “minimize the financial burden of all who are diagnosed with cancer so they may concentrate on whats important, ‘GETTING BETTER’.”
